This is a tool to help you read through the Bible in a year. Each day there is a reading from The Old Testament, The New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs. There is also a place to add comments on what you've read. Just click on the date and you will see any comments posted. Click the scripture verses to read the passage.
Why do you suppose Joseph played the games with his brothers? To test them? To see if they had remorse for their actions? Perhaps he was just taken by surprise, and had a knee-jerk reaction? It is interesting. I also thought it was odd how Ruben told Jacob that he could put both of his sons to death if anything happened to Benjamin. THANKS, DAD! Things were very different back then.
