  1. The psalmist cries out to God in Psalm 25:18 "Feel my pain and see my trouble. Forgive all my sins."
We read about Jesus' response to the pleas for healing from the two blind men in Matthew 20:34 "Jesus felt sorry for them and touched their eyes. Instantly they could see! Then they followed him.
I choose to believe that God feels my pain and acts on His concern for me. I hope you do too!

  2. Matthwe 21:16

"Do you hear what these children are saying?" they asked him.

"Yes," replied Jesus, "have you never read,

" 'From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise'[Psalms 8:2]?"

Yesterday after church I asked my 6 year old daughter what she did in kid's church. She said they drew pictures of the people they wanted to pray for. I asked her who she drew a picture of and she said "God." She said, "I wanted to pray for God". At first I thought it was cute, but then I realized that this was really a form of worship. She wanted God to be happy because she really likes Him. When I read these verses this morning it revealed to me how much I can learn from the innocence of kids and how their worship of God is so natural. But it usually goes unnoticed.
